A "Fighting Irish" Chocolate Tin

Remember the cute Valentine's Day Tins I made a few months ago? Well, the Principal at Max's school liked hers so much that she asked if I would make a couple more for her, only she wanted me to do a Notre Dame theme.Her daughter just finished law school and  she wanted one for her daughter and one for her daughter's roommate as an extra little gift when she went to their graduation. I love the dimension that the Big Shot Texturz Pates add to the Night of Navy paper. I used my heart punch to make the shamrock and finished it off with some rhinestone brads.

I decided to make a coordinating monogrammed bag for each of the tins. Mrs. Gibbon's didn't ask me to do that, but I knew they would be fabulous and that she would love them, and she did!!

King For A Day

Here's a cute little gift bag for one of the men in your life. It would be great for Father's Day! Just change the "Happy Birthday" sentiment.

 

I used the Big Shot "Top Note" Die (my VERY favorite) for the front and back. Here's the side view:

 

I used little paper sacks and trimmed them down to 3" tall. Then I used "Sticky Strip" to adhere the Top Notes. So fun!

I made a similar bag for my friend (and Hostess,) Jess. Hi Jess!! It was a Get Well theme. I included some cough drops, travel tissues, chap stick and tea bags. I even stamped the tissue paper. It came out super cute. These are great for thoughtful little gifts any time of the year.

I'm working on Teacher Appreciation stuff this week. Maybe I'll add this little project!

I know I haven't posted anything of my own in a while. I promise to do so soon!! In the meantime, here's another great card that was on one of the display boards in the Hospitality Room in Hawaii. I don't know who made it, but I think it's super cute. I love how she did the shirt and hat. She stamped the image on the DSP and cut it out. Nice touch! Perfect for Father's Day or a birthday.

Hawaii "Share Night"

Stampin' Up! organized a "Share Night" for us during our trip to Hawaii. There were lots of great projects on display. Two talented Demonstrators, BJ Peters and Sandy Poehnelt shared thesegreat seasonal boxes that were created with the Sizzix Big Shot and the Stampin' Up! exclusive Top Note die or the Scallop Circle die.

You Crack Me Up!

This adorable card was on one of the display boards in the Hospitality Room (where we won free stuff each day) in Hawaii. It uses "A Good Egg" stamp set, item # 114974.I don't know who made it, but it's super cute, don't you think?

Big Shot Matchbox Die

There are so many great dies for the Big Shot. The possibilities are endless! The Matchbox Die is brand new in the Occasions Mini Catalog. Here are a couple of cute little gifts that were demonstrated at the General Session in Hawaii. The first box is filled with hand stamped brads that were made with the Build-a-Brads. I love the versatility of them! Check out the lip balm. They are super cute, covered with Stampin UP! Designer Series Paper. Don't you think? What a cute party favor that would make! The Tic Tac box is embellished with rub ons. And finally, a cute baby gift. Teeny tiny socks fill the last adorable box.

Make & Takes

A Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip wouldn't be a Stampin' Up! Trip without stamping! 

I was so excited to see the fun box full of stampin' stuff that we got for our make & take projects.

Here's the box.

Inside was some fun new stuff! I wasn't sure if I would be allowed to show you the brand new stamp set that will be in the 2009/2010 catalog, so I turned t upside down, just to be safe. As it turns out, we are allowed to show it even though it's not available yet. I'll show the actual projects in another post. I forgot to take pictures of them. Silly me.

Hawaii was wonderful! I have so much to share that I don't even know where to begin. I guess I'll start with all of the wonderful gifts that Stampin' Up! gave us! Each night a "pillow gift" was left on our bed. The first night everyone and their spouse (or guest) got a beautiful bag. My bag matched the great travel clutch they sent in the mail the week before with our airline tickets, cute luggage tags and itinerary.

The second night we got some yummy snacks wrapped up in some kind of leaves. There was a little card that explained the Hawaiian Tradition and what kind of leaves they were. 

The next night we were given were beautiful sarongs. Not the men... just the women, thank goodness. LOL! Although there were a few very handsome Hawaiian men wearing "skirts"  at the Luau. I'm thinking you have to be Hawaiian to pull that off if you're a man. 

Last but not least, a beautiful silver necklace which was made by a local artist.

In addition to the gifts left each night, we were given a raffle ticket for a chance to win an ipod Nano.  There were 5 winners each day for five of the days. Unfortunately, I didn't win one. BUT... everyone won something each day! We got to spin a wheel to win a prize!!

Poor Steve had to take a picture of me spinning the wheel every day, but I won't post all of them. I'll just show you all of the fun stuff I won!

Mousin' Around

Here's the Disney themed layout I promised. It's a favorite every time I show my scrapbook at workshops. This was super fun to make and personalize. I used several different Stampin' Up! circle punches to make the "mouskateers." (I have no idea if I spelled that correctly and I'm pretty sure the spell check isn't going to correct it, so this is my disclaimer,LOL!)

More Bugs & Kisses

This is super quick scrapbook layout that can be adapted to suit alomst any stamp set and/or occasion. There's lots of room for pictures of any size and I like the pocket for journaling, because sometimes you don't want just anyone to read what you write. :o) I originally copied this layout from my 3rd level Upline, Lisa. Hi Lisa! I have used it MANY times!  

Here's a card I made for a Convention Swap a couple of years ago. Both of the pictures in this post were taken in my "pre-blog" days, so please forgive the cropping and background.

 

I have been stamping lots of cute stuff lately, but can't seem to find the time to get the pictures off of my camera and on to my computer. I know, I know...excuses, excuses! The good news is, I've been stamping for 4 years. (This month is my Stampin' Up! Anniversary!) So I can usually find something to show you. Check back in a couple of days for a really cute Disney scrapbook layout we made at class several months ago.
